COVID-19 - Our Provisions to Protect Our Guests

Since the Government has given a glimmer of hope that our country can enjoy staycations again sometime this Summer we have received a number of enquiries for possible stays in our much loved Shepherd's Hut. We are shielding a member of our family and consequently taking every precaution necessary to keep ourselves as well as our guests safe.

Esme's Escape is a solitary Shepherd's Hut with it's own driveway, bathroom facilities and hot tub, our guests enjoy exclusive access to all areas. With an induction hob and log fired BBQ/Pizza Oven it is entirely possible for our guests to arrive with food and remain on site for the duration of their stay. Alternatively, many local pubs and cafes are providing take away options, until they are permitted to open their doors to the public again.

Those who enjoy walking and taking in the local sites will benefit from the public footpaths and wide open spaces nearby.

We have researched safe cleaning methods of public areas like our Shepherd's Hut and taken on board advice to have the accommodation empty for 72 hours after each guests depart before cleaning with appropriate chemicals while wearing PPE. To this end we have blocked off Sunday nights through to Thursdays for the rest of 2020. We will open these dates up if we can safely at a later date.

Guests will have their own key and, although we can greet guests personally from a safe distance, we will have a manual full of our top tips on heating the hot tub etc. enabling self check-in.

We hope that our guests appreciate the precautions we have adopted, and feel Esme's Escape provides a safe sanctuary in which to avoid all Pandemic news, updates, and stress.
